  • The most simple answer to this question is, Because its the law. EPA and OSHA require asbestos inspections before any contractor can work on your site. Beyond that, its just a good idea to keep everyone safe.

  • We are EPA certified through the AHERA regulations to perform asbestos surveys for your projects. Ask for a copy of the certification.

  • When samples are taken from a building, we will assess the building materials in order to understand how many samples will be needed to represent the project. This is destructive testing, the 3rd party laboratory will need parts of your building in order to test. We can try to be selective about the testing locations so that they aren’t obvious, but there will be samples taken. call us to schedule an appointment and get your survey done.

  • Seldom can we provide a hard cost for the survey. We will not know until we are on site, how many samples need taken or how long the process will take. Normally, Homes dont take as long as commercial buildings, but thats not a hard rule. For this reason, surveys are on a time and materials basis. Please call for a quote, our prices do change seasonally.
